The digital educational therapy games on this site are designed to build the general educational, phonological, and cognitive skills required to read while at the same time charting the progress of the individual and assuring that all aspects of the struggling readers weaknesses are addressed. To accomplish this, MD4 Reading combines neuroscience, educational therapy, and a little fun.
Working within a school system the MD4 Reading program provides self-directed digital educational therapy and does not assume that an individual has a specific skill, but rather assumes that all skills are lacking, and improves performance in all areas. Digital educational therapy is in some instances multi-sensory in order to help an individual acquire information, and in other cases digital educational therapy may isolate a sense in order to strengthen it. Digital educational therapy is sequential and cumulative in its approach, meaning one game builds on another in order to bring about an improvement in reading and processing.
